Cedar Falls Council to Set Public Hearing Tonight on College Hill Area Rezoning

The Cedar Falls City Council’s regular round of meetings begins at 5:50 today(Mon) with a Committee-of-the-Whole review of the Code that deals with hard-surface parking requirements.  That’ll be followed by a progress report on the city’s levee improvement project.

During the regular meeting, starting tonight(Mon) at 7, the council will consider a supplemental agreement with Riverwise Engineering regarding the Cedar River Recreational Improvement Project…members will set an August 6th public hearing on the proposed rezoning of 1015 and 1021 West 22nd Street from Multiple-Unit Residential(R-3) to High-Density Commercial(C-3)…and the council will be asked to give first reading to a change in the ordinance governing the butchering and disposal of dead animals.
