Lying to a Grand Jury Gets a Waterloo Woman Two Years in Prison

A Waterloo woman who lied to a federal grand jury about a shooting she knew about, will spend the next two years in federal prison.

51-year old Karla Myles will be on supervised release for two more years, once her prison term is up.  There is no parole in the federal system.

Federal Judge John Jarvey said Myles told blatant lies under oath, about Eric Sallis shooting a  juvenile, even though he shouldn’t have had a gun, since he was a convicted felon.
