Hawkeye Community College has announced the name of the second finalist for its soon-to-be-vacant President’s position. Dr. Wendy Mihm-Herold is currently the Vice-President for Business and Community Solutions at Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar and Peosta.
This coming Monday, she’ll have the same schedule of meetings and interviews with faculty, staff, students, the community, and the Hawkeye Board of Trustees that the first candidate (Dr. Kristie Fisher ) earlier this (last) week.
That’s two forums on the HCC main campus on East Orange Road in Waterloo, one in the morning from 9 to 10 and the second in the afternoon from 3 to 4, both in Tama Hall, Room 128. Those will be followed by an interview with the Trustees Monday evening at 6:30 in the Hawkeye Center Board Room, also on the main campus.
The 3rd and 4th candidates for the retiring Dr. Linda Allen’s position will be in Waterloo on Wednesday, the 17th and Thursday, the 18th.
