The Iowa Corn Growers Association is thanking Governor Kim Reynolds for taking action yesterday(Mon), extending until December 1st the transportation of overweight loads of corn, soybeans, hay, straw, silage and stover.
Reynolds signed a proclamation allowing vehicles up to 90,000 pounds, without a permit, on the state’s highways (except the interstates), as long as they’re hauling the agricultural products.
The drivers must also comply with maximum axle-weight limits and with all posted limits on specific roads and bridges.
