Due to the continuation of social distancing and precautions taking place to further prevent the spread of COVID-19, the 2020 Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival has been cancelled. Consultations with the Mayor of Cedar Rapids and the Linn County Public Health helped make the decision.
The Freedom Festival is a non-profit organization responsible for events like the Balloon Glow, Parade, Pancake Breakfast, and the Celebration of Freedom 4th of July Fireworks.
