Ali Thomson – Take A Little Rhythm

Scottish-born, poor-man’s Rick Springfield but with MUCH less success, Ali Thomson was an office helper at Mountain Records in London, when he decided he wanted to try stardom, like his brother, Doug Thomson of Supertramp.

He recorded two albums for A&M Records and had only one big hit. The title track of his debut album, “Take A Little Rhythm” peaked at #15 on the Hot 100 in 1980.
