Celebrating the life and music of Prince, who passed away 4 years ago today.

Prince – I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man

“I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man” was originally recorded in 1982 and shelved. Prince and The Revolution were working on a double album that was to be called “Dream Factory”. Instead, in 1986, Prince as a solo artist, reworked the song and released it on the ‘Sign O’ The Times” album.

It went Top 10 and peaked there in 1988.
