‘Live 1985″ was originally released on VHS, Laserdisc, Betamax and was taped March 30, 1985 in Syracuse, NY. This was the band at it’s absolute peak, following the release of Purple Rain and the soundtrack which sent the band on a very successful world tour. I have the VHS and burned it to DVD and then, the remaster releases Deluxe edition that was released a couple years ago, included a DVD copy!
This is a show you don’t wan to miss. Whether you’re a big fan or not, it’s really a great concert!
