I had the first treatment they mention in this article, Convalescent plasma.
I was told that the results were mixed and really had everything to do with each person and their bodies response to it. This came from the Mayo clinic and i was part of the study and testing of this treatment. Essentially, it’s plasma donated from those who had the virus and recovered. The built-in antibodies are then in the plasma and that is infused into the sick patient (me). Needless to say, it worked and worked fast for me, as the doctor said when he came in, 2 days after I had the transfusion, “I am VERY impressed by your turn-around. I expected you to be here [through that weekend], but it’s 2 days after and you’re going home!”
