Cutting Crew – I’ve Been In Love Before
1986, English rock band, Cutting Crew, after only a year together as a band, recorded and released their debut album, ‘Broadcast’.
Luck, talent, timing and sound had much to do with the success of the album, as it spawned two Top 10 singles, “(I Just) Died In Your Arms” (#1) and the second single to follow, “I’ve Been In Love Before”.
The second single, a pop ballad, peaked at #9 on the Hot 100, with help of MTV and massive radio play.
