Jon Bon Jovi – Miracle
After the very long ‘New Jersery’ tour, Bon Jovi had had enough of each other and were on the brink of break up. Jon suggested everyone go their separate ways for a while, with no date to reconvene.
Musically, Richie Sambora wrote, recorded and released an amazing solo album, ‘Stranger In Town’ with very little promotion behind it, but some air play on MTV and some rock stations. Jon was asked to write music for the soundtrack of the movie Young Guns II, with “Wanted Dead Or Alive” in mind…
The album was ‘Blaze Of Glory’ and the title track topped the U.S. Top 40 and Album Rock Tracks chart.
The second single was more of a ballad, and had a somewhat Mexican music sound with accordion and plenty of acoustic guitar. “Miracle” peaked at #12 on the Hot 100 and #20 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
The video features Jon and friends on Harleys with Jeff Beck and a yet unknown “F*R*I*E*N*D*S star, Matt LeBlanc!
