Michael McDonald – Sweet Freedom
Former Doobie Bro, Michael McDonald, has a string of solo hits and this is one of my absolute favorites!
From the soundtrack of the excellent Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines film, Running Scared, “Sweet Freedom” hit the Top 40 in stride and made it to the #7 spot on the Hot 100 in 1986!
The video is clips from the movie, as well as scenes shot on a beach with McDonald, being joined by Crystal and Hines. It looks like they had a great time shooting for the video.
