The third single to be released from ‘1999’, it’s the third track on the album, and it became Prince’s second Top 10 hit!
“Delirious” climbed the charts on the dance charts, R&B and Hot 100 with double entedre lyrics referring to sex, but hidden enough to keep from being censored.
It worked and it peaked at #8 on the Hot 100 in 1983.
