Maria Muldaur – Midnight At The Oasis

From her self-titled album released in 1973, Maria Muldaur, who had been active in the folk-blues scene since the early 60s, comes “Midnight At The Oasis”. She’s gone on to play with all of the legends of the blues at one time or another.

She’s still known as the sultry chanteuse of folk and blues and has released 37 solo albums and MANY others with other artists.

“Midnight At The Oasis” was a sensual, bluesy jazz pop hit that climbed the charts and peaked at #6 on the Hot 100, and was even nominated for Record of the Year as well as Song of the Year at the 17th Annual Grammy Awards.
