Rolling Stones – Harlem Shuffle

A song originally written, recorded and released in 1963 by Bob & Earl, it made it to the Hot 100 but peaked just outside the Top 40 and peaked at #44.

Then, in 1986, The Rolling Stones recorded and released it on the ‘Dirty Work’ album. This was the first cover song to be released as the lead single from a Rolling Stones album, since 1965!

The great Bobby Womack sings back-up and the song went Top 10, peaking at #5!
