Are you a COVID “long-hauler”?

By Tim Martin Dec 1, 2020 | 12:08 PM

I am a long-hauler. It’s a new term describing COVID survivors that continue to have after effects. Most recovered COVID patients will have a few leftover symptoms. These are how the body now works. No one know how long they stay or if they are permanent, OR if they progress and get worse.

Mine are:

  • General fatigue
  • Tighter chest (breathing isn’t as easy)
  • Tinnitus (constant ringing in the ears)
  • Harder to catch my breath
  • Brain fog (example: hard to think of known words)
  • Higher than normal blood pressure
  • Restless sleep
  • Intermittent stuffy nose
  • Random body aches

There may be more, I just can’t think of them right now. When they happen, I’ll remember and think, “That’s another one I forgot to mention in my….. uh….. my……what is that called……. thing I write……. damnit…….. OH! BLOG! Yeah!”
