Seals & Crofts – Hummingbird
Seals & Crofts released my personal favorite album of theirs, ‘Summer Breeze’ in 1972. The year I was born.
The whole album SOUNDS like 1972! It just fits the time, culture, sound, etc.
Of course the first single was the title track and one of S&C biggest hits. The next single, “Hummingbird” is a metaphor for Baha’u’llah, Prophet of the Baha’i Faith.
The song managed to climb the charts and peak at #20 on the Hot 100 in 1973!
