Thanks to the global pandemic, the UNI Panther football season was moved to 2021, and kickoff time is near. the Panthers kick off their season this Friday night vs. South Dakota State at the UNI-Dome. It’s a matchup of two Top 5 programs who last met in the FCS playoffs.
Because of the pandemic UNI Athletics announced the plan for fan attendance which includes six feet of separation between ticketed pods and allocates room for players families, students, and the Panther Marching Band. The capacity for game day will be 2,715, around 15%. There will be no single game ticket sales at this current capacity.
